Christopher Walker

Christopher Walker was born and raised in Prince William County, having grown up in Woodbridge and graduated from Potomac Senior High. Mr. Walker earned his B.A. at St. John's College in Annapolis, MD, a small liberal arts college known for its distinctive "great books" curriculum.

After taking a year off to work as a contractor at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Walker began work on his J.D. at the George Mason University School of Law. At the end of his first year of law school, he earned an invitation to join the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal. Eventually, Mr. Walker served as an Associate Editor of the journal before graduating near the top of his class.

Mr. Walker's professional career began in Fairfax, where he worked for a firm specializing in creditor's rights, first as a law clerk and later as an associate attorney. After being admitted to the Virginia State Bar, Mr. Walker gained experience practicing in almost all the courts of Northern Virginia and represented both corporate and private parties in civil litigation.

Seeking to diversify his practice, Mr. Walker moved to a firm in the Central Virginia region, where he became certified as a Guardian ad Litem for children. During this time, Mr. Walker represented individuals in divorce, child custody, personal injury, and medical malpractice, while continuing to employ his knowledge of the legal collections process.

Mr. Walker has now returned to Prince William County and is focusing his practice primarily in family law.
