John Irving Bio:

John Irving brings a working knowledge of all aspects of the legal process to any case or client with his extensive and eclectic legal background. In 1997, John received his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Shortly after graduation he began work as a fraud investigator for the City of New York. John handled thousands of cases involving welfare and housing fraud. Following this position, he was recruited by the Prince William County Police Department. While working as a police officer, he exhibited his superior abilities by receiving the award for Officer of the Month on two separate occasions.

After 3 years on the police department, John decided to make a career change and join his wife in the practice of law. To pursue this goal, he attended the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. He quickly began acquiring practical experience by representing clients through his school’s clinic program. Through this work, he became involved in some landlord tenant cases and spent much of his final year in school fighting for the rights of students to gain specialized school services based on their particular needs. Even with these additional activities and maintaining an active family life, John graduated Magna Cum Laude of his class. With his background, John brings specialized knowledge and experience of police procedure, which is a great asset to the criminal work the firm handles. In addition, he also enjoys many aspects of civil litigation including family law, estate law, and personal injury law. Overall, John Irving is a man who understands the needs of each individual and works with all his considerable abilities to successfully help those requiring aid.
